Welcome to the start of the Calibration course.
This course describes the process of calibrating a boom sprayer. It explains how and why calibration should be undertaken, the factors that an operator should consider, different methods of calibration and how they can be done safely to ensure products are applied accurately and in compliance with the label.
Note: You will need a calculator to answer some of the questions and practice the calculations required.

There is one lesson, broken down into 6 topics each of which looks at an individual step required for successful calibration. There is a video to watch and we have included PDF downloads which you will need for answering some of the test questions. You can also keep them for future reference. At the end of the final topic there is an end of course test. You must complete all the topics and then achieve 80% in the test to earn four NRoSO/BASIS points. If you do not answer enough of the test questions correctly the first time, you will be able to retake the test until you do. Just click the restart test button.
You will need to follow the topics in order, watch the video and complete all the ‘Quick Quizzes’ in each topic to finish the course. Follow the prompts at the end of each page to move through the course to the final test.
If you log out of the course at the end of a topic, having completed it, it will save your progress up to that point for when you return.
Once you have completed the course and passed the test at the end, the course will show as 100% complete and we will then send your points to NRoSO and/or BASIS for you. This course is worth 4 points.
Your points will appear in your EiO account in My Profile.
