Entries for Farm Sprayer Operator of the Year competition are now open and you can earn NRoSO points in the process.
Simply go online and answer some straightforward questions and it could be you lifting the trophy at the Cereals Event next year.
Organised by Syngenta, in conjunction with the Voluntary Initiative and supported by Ei Operator, FSOOTY aims to reward the country’s top sprayer operators – while also sharing the practical tips and best practice that can help all operators enhance results and protect the environment. It’s open to all, with the initial stage involving just a few online questions.

All finalists will be hosted overnight before the Cereals Event 2026 and presented with their awards in the Sprays & Sprayers Arena on day one of the show when the winner will also be announced and awarded with the coveted trophy.

FSOOTY 25 winner – Mark Turner
2025 FSOOTY winner, Mark Turner, is the main sprayer operator at Rise Farms based in East Riding of Yorkshire.
