Welcome to the start of the ten-point Fundamentals of best practice course.
This training course comprises five separate lessons designed to take a sprayer operator through the fundamentals of day-to-day best practice.
The five key areas are:
- Preparation for effective plant protection
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Mixing and Filling techniques
- Safe and Legal in Stores
- Reducing Drift
The five lessons include PDF downloads which you can keep for future reference as well as videos to watch and in-lesson quizzes. The in-lesson quizzes are designed to keep you engaged in the course content but they do not count towards your final score.
At the end of each lesson there is an end of lesson test. You must achieve 80% to pass each lesson. You cannot progress through the course without passing each end of lesson test. If you do not answer enough of the test questions correctly the first time, you will be able to retake the test until you do. Just click the restart test button.
You will need to follow the lessons in order, watch all the videos and you must complete all of the five lessons and pass all five tests to finish the course. Follow the prompts throughout each lesson to move through the course to the last test.
If you log out of the course at the end of a lesson, having passed that end of lesson test, it will save your progress up to that point for when you return.
Once you have completed the course and passed all the end of lesson tests, the course will show as 100% complete and we will then send your points to NRoSO and/or BASIS for you. This course is worth 10 points.
