Welcome to the start of the Droplets course.

This course examines the importance of droplets and takes a closer look at the science that influences drop size and how it effects application accuracy and efficacy. We explain some of the maths involved and assess the key differences between different drop sizes when it comes to spraying. You will learn about the five key aspects to achieve an effective spray application and the importance of nozzle choice.

There are two lessons. We have included useful links and PDF downloads. We suggest saving the PDF documents for future reference as you may need them to answer some of the test questions.

At the end of the final lesson there is an end of course test. You must complete all the lessons and then achieve 80% in the test to earn two NRoSO/BASIS points. If you do not answer enough of the test questions correctly the first time, you will be able to retake the test until you do. Just click the restart test button.

You will need to follow the lessons in order and complete all the ‘quizzes’ in each section to finish the course. The quizzes are designed to keep you engaged with the lesson content but do not count towards your final score. Follow the prompts at the end of each page to move through the course to the final test.

If you log out of the course at the end of a lesson, having marked it as complete, it will save your progress up to that point for when you return.

Once you have completed the course and passed the test at the end, the course will show as 100% complete and we will then send your points to NRoSO and/or BASIS for you. This course is worth two points.

Your points will appear in your EiO profile in MY ACCOUNT.
